Literacy Theme Packets are a great way to share an area of interest with the children.  There are over 40 themes available from Bugs and Fire safety to different holidays and the ocean.  Each theme packet has several books about the theme.  Activity pages with songs, finger plays, games, crafts and other ideas are in each packet and you can reproduce any item.  There is also a manipulative in each packet.  Some packets may have puppets, counting and sorting items, flannel board story pieces, or puzzles to mention a few.  These packets are available for check out in my office or call before the Association Meeting and I would be happy to bring the packet to you.  Please be responsible with these packets and teach the children to treat the items with respect.
