The Colorado Child Care

Assistance Program (CCCAP)

The Colorado Child Care Assistance Program, or CCCAP for short,

was created to help low to middle income families pay for child care.  Families are able to select their own child care provider

(this includes licensed family child care providers, licensed centers,

family, neighbors, and friends).

County Departments of Social/Human Services pay the child care provider, although parents must pay a parental fee.

Who is Eligible?

·          Low to middle income parents who are working or in training.

·          Parents whose income does not exceed set guidelines.

·          Single or two parent families.

·          Parents who are working part time or full time.

·          Parents who are looking for employment.

·          Parents who are U.S. citizens or legal residents.

·          Children who are under the age of 13 or up to 18 if they have a

           special need.

The Colorado Child Care Assistance Program

is designed to help families continue
